WinifredCONN (WOODHOUSE)Winifred (Winnie) passed away peacefully at The Hermitage Residential Care Home on 28th December 2024, aged 91 years.

Winnie, formerly of Tiverton Road, Berryhill, was the much loved wife of the late Ken. Devoted Mam to Roland and Sharon and cherished mother-in-law of Jayne and Paddy. Winnie was a dearly loved Nana to Rebecca and Simon, Rhys and Niamh.

Winnie was a treasured sister to Elsie, Peter, Theresa, Ralph and Joseph Rowland. A much-loved auntie, cousin and sister-in-law within her family. A lifelong friend to Jean and the late Ernie Grieveson, John and Joyce Raymond. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Winnie’s funeral service will take place at Stafford Crematorium on Thursday 9th January at 1pm. Will relatives and friends kindly meet at Stafford Crematorium.
 
After the service, everyone is warmly invited to join the family for refreshments at:
The Knot and Plough, Weston Road, Stafford, ST18 OWL

The family respectfully invites no flowers. Donations to Parkinson’s UK (parkinsons.org.uk) are most welcome.

Winnie’s family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all relatives and friends for the kindness and expressions of sympathy shown to them in their sad loss. Special thanks to the staff of The Hermitage Residential Care Home for their kindness, care and compassion towards Winnie and her family during her stay there, but particularly during her final days.
